Your Role

As a supply teacher, you'll have the opportunity to:

Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire young learners.
Create positive learning experiences that support pupils' progress and wellbeing.
Assess learning effectively and provide meaningful feedback.
Adapt confidently to different classrooms and school environments.
Become part of supportive school communities while building your professional experience.
Access opportunities for longer-term and potentially permanent placements if that's something you're looking for.
Most assignments will be in Welsh-medium primary schools, although opportunities within English-medium schools are also available if you would like to broaden your experience.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for teachers who are enthusiastic about delivering excellent education through the medium of Welsh. You will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Recent experience teaching the Welsh curriculum.
Fluency in Welsh and confidence teaching through the medium of Welsh.
Experience teaching within the Foundation Phase and/or Key Stage 2.
Strong classroom management skills.
The ability to motivate, inspire, and engage pupils.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers, and any eligible supply teaching completed can contribute towards your Induction Year.
