OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Workshop Plant Fitter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work on a variety of heavy plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, loading shovels, dozers, and more. Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of heavy plant machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including service reports and parts used.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime.
Provide technical support and advice to colleagues and customers when required.
Qualifications

NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification is essential.
Proven experience working with heavy plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, loading shovels, and dozers.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
Day-to-Day

Conducting scheduled maintenance and servicing of plant machinery.
Diagnosing and repairing faults to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensuring all tools and equipment are maintained and stored correctly.
Collaborating with the team to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
Keeping the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
