Contract/Project
PRIMARY TEACHING ASSISTANT
Location: Aylesbury
Start: September 2026
Full Time: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £90–£120 per day
The first thing you notice isn’t the lesson.
It’s the small things:
A pupil who stays focused longer
A child who asks for help instead of giving up
A quieter classroom during transitions
That’s where this role sits.
What You Actually Do All Day
You won’t be delivering lessons — but you will make them work.
You will:
Support the teacher during whole‑class learning
Help pupils who get stuck or distracted
Reinforce instructions and expectations
Work with small groups when needed
Keep routines consistent across the day
This Role Works Best If
You notice things others miss
You don’t mind repeating instructions calmly
You are consistent, not reactive
This is not a “stand at the back” role.
You are part of how the classroom functions.
Supply Desk can offer you:
Competitive rates of pay
Recommend a friend bonus scheme
Out of hours on-call service
Day to day or long-term assignments
Please contact the Team on for more information and Apply Below
