We're looking for an Engineer to join our Kier Construction team based in London and Thames Valley.
Location: Greater London - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We're looking for an experienced Engineer to join our team working on an exciting large commercial project on Oxford Street. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career whilst working on a high-profile scheme in central London. You'll be working closely with our Site Management team, providing essential technical support and helping to overcome challenges as they arise.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Engineer, you'll be working within the Site Management team, supporting them in delivering technical excellence throughout the construction process. Your day to day will include:
Setting out works and conducting regular checks on setting out points and benchmarks to ensure accuracy
Monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by the RC frame contractor and other trades, ensuring compliance with technical standards
Raising technical queries with the design team and supply chain to ensure all necessary information is available
Monitoring and reporting on the technical compliance of materials, equipment, products and workmanship
Ensuring the site team understands all primary setting out information and can follow accordingly
What are we looking for?
This role of Engineer is great for you if:
You have previous experience of RC basement construction and ideally RC superstructure construction with a frame contractor
You hold an HNC or above in a Civil Engineering related discipline
You have setting out experience and are confident using surveying instruments
You have experience and training in temporary works
You hold a CSCS Card and SMSTS qualification
