Job role: Maintenance Engineer
£55,000 Basic + Overtime
Monday - Friday - Day Shift
Our client is a market-leading manufacturer known for innovation, quality, and continued investment in its people and facilities. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to their established engineering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern manufacturing environment where you'll play a vital role in keeping production running efficiently while working on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
* Maintain a range of production equipment including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated machinery.
* Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Support continuous improvement projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
* Assist production teams with machine faults, changeovers, and equipment set-ups when required.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
