Service Controller (Engineering / Facilities Services)
Coventry | Full-Time | Monday-Friday
A well-established and growing engineering services business is seeking a Service Controller to join their busy operations team, supporting delivery across a major national contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience in service coordination, administration, or engineering support environments.
The Role
Working as part of a collaborative service team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of planned and reactive works across multiple sites nationwide.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating and scheduling engineers for emergency callouts and reactive works
Managing incoming service requests and responding to customer queries
Liaising closely with engineers, clients, and subcontractors
Updating internal service systems, portals, and revenue tracking tools
Raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and supporting costing activities
Monitoring job progress and ensuring service delivery targets are met
Providing general administrative support to the service functionWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience in a service coordination, helpdesk, or engineering admin role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Good IT skills, including experience using service management systems
A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindsetDesirable:
Experience within HVAC, FM, or a related engineering/service industry
Understanding of job costing, scheduling, and service delivery processesWhat's on Offer
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience)
