Initial 12 month contract.

Experience specifically required:

Must have goods in inspection experience.
Apprenticeship required.Hourly Rate: £28.71 plus Overate Rate

Key Responsibilities:
Verify and accept procured products against contractual conditions, including undertaking first-off inspections.
Read and interpret complex assembly drawings, checking dimensional tolerances, machined features, and surface finishes (detecting faults in painting, plating, or deterioration).
Inspect components, including PCBs, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
Identify non-conforming items, segregate defective products from good stock, and raise/maintain accurate defect reports.
Complete all quality control paperwork associated with deliveries and maintain the product verification approval process through regular audits.What We Are Looking For:
Apprenticeship/Qualifications: A formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3, TR23, TR21, HNC, or equivalent further education certificate).
Proven practical experience reading and understanding technical/assembly drawings, tolerances, and machining specifications.
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, strict compliance tracking, and an ability to meet strict inspection timelines.
A flexible, customer-focused team player who is adaptable to changing work processes.
Desirable: System literacy in SAP is a distinct advantage
