Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for your next opportunity in a supportive secondary school?

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming school in South Birmingham for a Science Technician to join their science department from September on a long-term basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the delivery of practical science lessons by preparing equipment and materials, maintaining laboratory resources, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working as a Science Technician within a UK secondary school.
A good understanding of laboratory health and safety procedures.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A proactive and reliable approach to supporting both staff and students.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).The role offers:

Long-term position starting in September.
Opportunity to secure a permanent contract.
Supportive and friendly school environment.
Competitive daily rate of £100-£130 per day, depending on experience.
