A great stand-out in this role is the variety. You'll split your time between a well-equipped workshop in Braintree and attending breakdowns across London and Essex, ensuring no two days are the same.
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE

28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
The Role
Service, maintain and repair a fleet of heavy plant and construction equipment.
Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
Attend breakdowns at sites across London and Essex.
Complete workshop-based repairs, inspections and component replacements.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Engineer or similar.
Strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience working on construction, demolition or heavy plant machinery.
Welding and fabrication experience would be advantageous.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) are desirable.
