We're currently working with a welcoming and well-run secondary school in Wakefield who are looking for a Health & Social Care Teacher to join them for the Autumn Term from September 2026.
This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys their subject and wants to make a difference to students considering careers in health and care settings. You'll be teaching Level 2 and Level 3 courses, so experience at this level would be really beneficial.
What you'll be doing
Teaching Health & Social Care across KS4/KS5 (Level 2 & 3)
Planning engaging lessons that bring the subject to life
Supporting students to achieve their best, both academically and personally
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative department
What we're looking for
A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
Experience delivering Health & Social Care, ideally at Level 2 and/or 3
Someone who builds strong relationships with students and staff
A positive, proactive approach and the ability to hit the ground running
