Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established family-owned service centre in Liphook, Hampshire, for the position of Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join a growing business that values quality work and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate reliability, and possess the technical skills necessary to carry out diagnostic and mechanical tasks to high standards.

Benefits:

Salary up to £50,000 per annum based on a 42.5-hour week
Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 5:30PM
Saturday mornings (8:00AM - 12:30PM), 1 in 4 weekends, with overtime pay

Conducting maintenance and mechanical repairs including oil changes, tyre fitting, suspension, brakes, and regular servicing in line with manufacturer standards
Performing vehicle diagnostics to identify faults and troubleshoot issues
Repairing or replacing faulty parts
Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard and operate smoothly
Assisting with MOT testing (desirable but not essential)
Keeping detailed records of work performed, communicating costs and progress to the service reception team
Providing excellent customer service and working effectively within a team environmentRequirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
Skilled in diagnostic work and mechanical repairs
Ability to work efficiently and accurately to a high standard
Strong pride in personal and workshop presentation
Reliable with a professional attitude
Full UK driving licence
MOT testing qualification is desirable but not essential
