Construction
Immediate Start
£30k - £32k Annual
Full-Time
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised person to support the workshop team with the day-today.
tasks that keep our workshop running safely and efficiently — from the moment supplies arrive, through to the delivery of finished furniture.
It’s a varied, hands-on role spanning logistics, general workshop duties and support to our finishing team, working alongside our Production and Workshop Managers. Ideal for someone who takes pride in order, accuracy and a job done well — happy as part of a team, and equally happy working on their own.

LOGISTICS & DELIVERIES
Receive, label and store all deliveries to the workshop.
Check incoming materials, components and finishes against orders — confirming the correct items, quantities and quality have arrived, and that everything is accounted for.
Check and report on the condition of delivered items, flagging any shortages, damage or discrepancies to the Production Manager.
Carry out collections and deliveries of resources and finished furniture, to and from suppliers and subcontractors, using checklists and delivery notes so everything is accounted for. Check and report on the quality of collected items.
Move, store and wrap components and finished furniture safely.
Before each delivery, organise and marshal a project’s components and supplies, with clear documentation, so everything arrives on site well-organised and accounted for.
Manage the workshop waste and briquetter responsibly.

WORKSHOP & FINISHING SUPPORT

Work in the Finishing Studio alongside our polisher, assisting with the surface preparation and finishing of furniture — with training provided for further development.
Assist the manufacturing and finishing team with project tasks when required.
Carry out workshop and equipment maintenance and inspection procedures, completing all associated paperwork (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly).
Help with workshop improvements — building and repairing workshop resources.
Follow company processes carefully, and use your initiative to keep standards high
