Nursery Manager – Glasgow
Up to £40,000 - £43,000 | Full-Time | Established Setting
We are supporting a well-regarded early learning and childcare provider in recruiting an experienced Nursery Manager for their established setting based just outside Glasgow. This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident, inspiring leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, learning and play in line with Care Inspectorate standards.
The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will take the lead in:
* Managing, inspiring and developing a dedicated staff team
* Ensuring full compliance with Care Inspectorate requirements, National Care Standards, and Scottish early years frameworks
* Embedding high-quality practice in line with Curriculum for Excellence (Early Level) and Realising the Ambition
* Delivering exceptional standards of care, learning, safeguarding and wellbeing in line with GIRFEC
* Overseeing occupancy, budgets, staffing and overall operational performance
* Building strong, trusted relationships with parents, carers, local partners and external agencies
* Driving continuous improvement and maintaining a warm, child-centred environment where children thrive
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has proven experience as a Nursery Manager, or a strong Deputy ready to step into leadership
* Holds a relevant SCQF Level 7/9 qualification (HNC/SVQ 3 minimum; SVQ 4/BA Childhood Practice desirable) in line with SSSC registration requirements
* Understands legislation around safeguarding, child protection and early years practice
* Is confident, organised and leads with positivity and professionalism
* Has excellent communication and people-management skills
* Is committed to continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes for children
Salary & Benefits
* Up to £43,000 depending on experience
