Are you an experienced Buyer looking for an opportunity to work on exciting, creative projects?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Buyer to join an innovative and market-leading business within the creative manufacturing industry. This is a varied role that combines strategic purchasing with customer account management, giving you the opportunity to work closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to bring creative concepts to life.
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will manage the sourcing and procurement of materials for a diverse range of bespoke projects. Due to the varied nature of the products manufactured, we're looking for someone with strong buying experience rather than industry-specific knowledge. Experience sourcing products from the Far East would be highly advantageous.

Essential:
Previous experience within a Buyer, Purchasing or Procurement role
Experience sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Commercial awareness and strong cost negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Adaptable and flexible approach with excellent problem-solving skills
Desirable:
Experience sourcing products from the Far East
Previous experience managing customer accounts or client relationships
Knowledge of international shipping or import processes
Experience working within a manufacturing or project-led environment
Roles & Responsibilities
Source materials and products from UK and international suppliers to meet customer and project requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead times and quality standards.
Support customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and ensuring their requirements are met.
Work closely with Project Managers, Designers and Production teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Manage purchase orders, supplier communications and procurement documentation.
Monitor production schedules and supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Identify alternative sourcing solutions where required to meet changing project demands.
Support the successful delivery of bespoke projects by balancing customer expectations with commercial objectives.
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the procurement process.
