Location: Bedford & surrounding areas
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Company Van + Fuel Card
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
An established electrical contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrician with a strong Housing Association / Social Housing background to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who is confident working in occupied properties, carrying out EICRs, electrical testing and inspection, remedial works and metal conduit installations across domestic housing stock.
The Role
Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Testing, inspection and certification of domestic electrical installations
Signing off EICRs and completing all relevant documentation
Completing remedial works identified during inspections
Installing and maintaining metal conduit systems
Fault finding, repairs and electrical maintenance
Working in occupied social housing and housing association properties
Delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service
Requirements
Qualified Electrician
City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification)
Previous Housing Association or Social Housing experience is essential
Experience carrying out and signing off EICRs
Strong testing, inspection and fault-finding skills
Experience with metal conduit installation
Full UK Driving Licence
JIB Gold Card desirable but not essential
