Shorterm Group is currently working with a leading aerospace component MRO centre based in Hayes, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic engineer eager to develop their skills in electroplating.

What is Electroplating?
Electroplating is a surface treatment process used to restore, protect, or enhance components. At its core, electroplating uses an electrical current to deposit a thin layer of metal (like chromium, nickel, or cadmium) onto a component. It's a mix of hands-on engineering, chemistry, and precision workmanship, and it plays a crucial role in keeping aircraft components safe and airworthy.

This role is ideal for someone with some experience in an engineering environment and a strong willingness to learn a specialised trade. You'll benefit from a fully supported training programme, working alongside experienced electroplaters who will guide your development, in a huge aerospace company.

Location: Hayes
Shift: 4 days on, 4 days off
Salary: From £29,833 (including shift allowance)

If you're looking to start or grow your career in engineering (particularly within the aerospace sector) this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills, with clear prospects for progression and further training.
