Field-Based | UK-Wide Travel | Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist in Air Handling Units (AHUs), HVAC energy upgrades and heat exchanger solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an HVAC Service Engineer to their nationwide field service team.

Working across commercial and industrial sites throughout the UK, you'll be involved in servicing, maintaining, repairing and upgrading HVAC systems, with a particular focus on AHUs, EC fan retrofits, coil replacements and controls upgrades.

The Role

As an HVAC Service Engineer, you will:

Service, maintain, diagnose faults and repair Air Handling Units (AHUs) and associated HVAC equipment.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Complete energy efficiency upgrades, including EC fan retrofits, coil replacements and controls modifications.
Support the installation, commissioning and refurbishment of AHU systems.
Conduct site surveys and provide technical feedback to the project team.
Produce accurate service reports and documentation.
Work in line with RAMS, health & safety procedures and industry standards.
Travel to customer sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience within the HVAC, ventilation or building services industry. Previous experience working on AHUs is highly desirable but not essential.
We are also happy to consider candidates with a good working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and some hands-on industry experience who are keen to develop into an AHU specialist.
Good mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A full, clean UK driving licence (essential). Applicants must be over 21 for insurance purposes.
ECS, CSCS, F-Gas or other relevant industry qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
