Salary: £88 - £110 per day

Position: Full-time

TimePlan Education are currently seeking a passionate and committed Behaviour Mentor for a primary school in Havering, working with children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with SEMH needs, helping them to manage their behaviour and develop essential social and emotional skills. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children who require additional support to thrive in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual students.
Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
Provide emotional support to children, encouraging resilience, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Monitor and track progress, providing feedback to staff and parents.
Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.Key Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable but not essential.
A strong commitment to working with children and helping them to overcome challenges.
A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with children.
Willingness to undertake training and professional development as provided by TimePlan Education.
Good communication and teamwork skills
