We're seeking an experienced Service Architect to join a high-profile Ministry of Defence (MOD) programme on a long-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering secure, resilient, and supportable services within a complex defence environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop end-to-end service architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.
Produce service designs that meet operational, security, and supportability standards.
Work closely with technical architects, engineering teams, service management, and stakeholders.
Ensure service transition and operational readiness for new and enhanced services.
Contribute to service governance, risk management, and continual service improvement.
Create and maintain service design documentation, operating models, and support processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Service Architect within complex enterprise or government environments.
Strong understanding of IT service design and service management principles.
Experience working on secure or defence-related programmes.
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into effective service solutions.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
