Estimator | Refurb Main Contractor | South East London

Looking to build your estimating career with a respected Main Contractor?

We're working with an established, privately owned Main Contractor that's continuing to grow its commercial team. Due to an increasing workload across refurbishment, fit-out and framework projects, they're looking to recruit an Estimator or Assistant Estimator to work closely with an experienced manager, offering genuine mentorship and long-term career progression.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ideally 2-3 years' estimating experience who's eager to develop, take on more responsibility and become a key part of a successful business.

The Role:

You'll support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders across a wide range of projects, including:

Commercial fit-outs
Education projects
Retail refurbishments
Public sector framework worksResponsibilities will include:

Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Producing accurate cost estimates and take-offs
Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
Assisting with tender submissions and client enquiries
Working closely with the commercial and operational teams to secure new projects

What We're Looking For:

2-3 years' estimating experience with a Main Contractor
Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
Confident reviewing drawings and tender information
Proactive, ambitious and keen to learn from experienced professionals
Strong communication and organisational skills
Able to commute to the South East London office five days per week
