Responsibilities of the Plasterer:
Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers or bonding agents
Mixing plaster to the correct consistency using hand tools or power mixers
Applying plaster smoothly and evenly onto walls, ceilings, or other structures using trowels and hawks
Repairing damaged plasterwork and ensuring finishes are of a high standard
Using bricklaying skills for specialised applications when required
Operating power tools such as drills, mixers, and saws safely and effectively
Assisting with masonry tasks including bricklaying where necessary
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Collaborating with other tradespeople such as roofers, welders, and carpenters on site.
