We are recruiting Delivery Maintenance Drivers for a local government client in Enfield, Greater London, to deliver and fit specialist community equipment and minor adaptations to residents' homes, and, where appropriate, demonstrate proper use, ensuring the equipment is adjusted to the user's needs. Carry out warehouse and stock management duties as directed, including equipment recycling:
Responsibility

Qualification – Essential
GCSES or equivalent to include Maths and English
A full UK Driving Licence and Social Care delivery experience.
Intermediate user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, social media, and tablets
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements - Criteria to be Tested at Shortlisting.
Immediate availability is essential for this role, underscoring the need to fill this position promptly to ensure continuous support for residents.
A full UK Driving Licence is a non-negotiable requirement for this role, underlining its importance.
Previous experience in a customer-focused organisation, providing excellent customer care, driving/delivering, and collecting equipment, is highly valued for this role.
Experience in driving 3.5T vans, together with the ability to maintain accurate electronic records.
Proven ability to prepare and monitor deliveries and collections, stock orders, recycle, and use hand-held electronic systems.
Experience in attending independent living and residential care environments.
Must be flexible and willing to work out-of-hours when required, including evenings and weekends, to meet community needs and delivery schedules.
Experience in driving and delivery, including loading/unloading, route planning and completion of paperwork in an area of high demand.
Solid Understanding of store and stock management processes.
Reliability, excellent timekeeping, and physical fitness are crucial to ensure a safe and dependable service for residents, reflecting the importance of safety and responsibility in this role.
Safety boots are an essential requirement.
