Metal Saw Operator

Pertemps are looking for a reliable Metal Saw Operator to join a busy production team working with non-ferrous metals. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with an immediate start available.

What you'll be doing:
Setting up and operating semi-automatic and automatic saws
Cutting metal to the correct sizes
Measuring materials using vernier callipers
Setting gauges and working to accurate measurements
Moving and handling metal safely
Keeping your work area clean and tidy

What we're looking for:
Experience using saws in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Confident using vernier callipers and reading measurements
Good attention to detail
Reliable with a strong work ethic

Hours:

Monday to Thursday
7:00am – 4:45pm

Pay:

£13.75 – £14.50 per hour

Temporary to permanent opportunity
Immediate start available
