Our partner school is seeking a committed, resilient and compassionate Pastoral Worker to join their dedicated team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our specialist provision, supporting students who have experienced challenges in mainstream education and helping them to re-engage with learning, develop positive relationships and achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Pastoral Worker, you will:

Provide high-quality pastoral support to individual students and small groups.
Promote positive behaviour, attendance and engagement with learning.
Support students throughout the school day, helping them regulate emotions and make positive choices.
Contribute to a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

Experience of working with young people, particularly those with SEMH needs or challenging behaviours (NOT ESSENTIAL)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A flexible, proactive and resilient approach.
Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
