We are currently hiring Welders for a leading manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established team.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 Friday 07:15-13:15. OT available Monday-Friday 06:00-08:00 and Saturday 06:00-12:00

Rate: £16.07 standard, OT at £24.11 per hour

Type: Temp to perm

Key Responsibilities:

* MIG and MAG welding

* Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively

* Assist in the assembly of metal structures, ensuring precision and quality standards are met

* To read/interpret drawings.

* Use of metal cutting and grinding equipment.

* Clean tools, equipment, and work areas, maintaining a safe working environment.

* Always maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, whilst maintaining a high level of productivity.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in MIG and MAG welding processes

* Confident carrying out Butt welds, plug welds and fillet welds.

* Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines.

* Experience working in a structural welding environment and confident carrying out cylindrical welds.
