ServiceNow Lead Solutions Architect (Fully Remote)

Salary: up to £110,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits
Location: Home-based - occasional travel
Security Clearance: SC Eligibility Required

Our client is looking for an individual to join a dynamic ServiceNow team as their Lead Solutions Architect and shape the future of service management for internal functions and external clients alike.

About the Role

As the ServiceNow Lead Solutions Architect, you will spearhead the design, development and delivery of cutting-edge ServiceNow solutions within a complex, multi-tenant environment. You will lead and manage a team of up to 10, provide technical guidance and collaborate closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the platform aligns with business goals and IT strategy.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where your deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CSDM, and domain separation will drive impactful, scalable solutions in both cloud and locally hosted ServiceNow environments.

What You'll Do

  • Lead solution design and architecture for ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and related modules
  • Manage, mentor and inspire a diverse technical team of up to 10 people
  • Confidently engage and communicate with both technical specialists and business stakeholders to understand and meet their needs
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and external clients to translate requirements into effective solutions
  • Drive platform innovation by evaluating and recommending emerging technologies like automation and AI
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and support SC clearance requirements
  • Participate in and lead regular reviews with ServiceNow to strengthen collaboration and delivery

Who You Are

  • Experienced in leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations with strong technical knowledge
  • Skilled in ITIL best practices with relevant certifications (ITIL v3/v4, ServiceNow CMA or CTA highly desirable)
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to balance technical hands-on work with strategic architectural vision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across distributed teams
  • Eligible for SC clearance
