Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire
Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

Academics is working closely with a fantastic, high-achieving Primary School in Amersham that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

About the Role:

Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Supporting Early Years pupils within a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver the EYFS curriculum
Providing tailored support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including communication and interaction needs, autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions to support children's learning, communication, and social development
Taking observations, monitoring progress, and contributing to individual learning plans and support strategies
Working closely with the school's SENCO, teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need
Long-term opportunity for the full academic year, with training and progression available What We're Looking For:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years (e.g. NVQ, CACHE, BA)
GCSEs in Maths & English (A*-C / 9-4)
Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
Experience carrying out Early Years observations and assessments
Experience supporting children with SEN in an Early Years, nursery, or primary school setting is highly desirable
A good understanding of inclusive practice and the ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
A confident, patient, proactive, and positive attitude
A team player who is adaptable, committed, and passionate about early childhood education What the School Offers:
