Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in line with the national curriculum
* Plan and assess student progress effectively, using data to support achievement
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Support students in developing scientific knowledge, practical skills, and exam confidence
* Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
* Participate in extracurricular science clubs, enrichment activities, or STEM initiatives
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who has:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Science or a related subject
* Strong subject knowledge across the three sciences
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A passion for making science engaging and accessible
* The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
