Primary SEN Teacher – Permanent Opportunity

Luma Education Recruitment is proud to be working with a welcoming specialist primary SEN school to recruit a passionate Qualified SEN Teacher (QTS) for a permanent position.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of educators in a beautiful rural setting, where every child is known as an individual. With classes of approximately six pupils, you'll have the time and support to deliver highly personalised teaching that makes a genuine difference.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment where every child can succeed

Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development through personalised learning

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and the wider multidisciplinary team

Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual EHCP targets

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in UK primary schools or specialist SEN settings

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
