Salary: £24,784 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client is a well-established and innovative manufacturer of advanced electronic instrumentation used across a range of industrial and environmental applications worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their skilled production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a precision-focused environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

The Role:

As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of electronic and mechanical components, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Working as part of a supportive and experienced team, you will play an important role in delivering products that are used in critical industrial applications around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly of electronic and mechanical products using hand tools and assembly equipment.

Testing and inspection of completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.

Following technical instructions, drawings, and work procedures accurately.

Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

Supporting departmental targets relating to quality, delivery, and productivity.

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean and organised work area.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or engineering environment.

Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.

Basic understanding of electronics, electrical assembly, or mechanical assembly processes.

Excellent attention to detail and quality awareness.

Good literacy and numeracy skills.

The ability to follow instructions and technical documentation accurately.

A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A proactive approach and willingness to learn new skills.
