We are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to provide Specialist Resource Base Support across a number of welcoming Primary Schools in Caerphilly. Thanks to our excellent relationships with schools throughout Caerphilly, we have a variety of opportunities available, ranging from flexible ad-hoc supply work to full-time, long-term positions five days a week.

Our aim is to provide schools with reliable, skilled staff while ensuring every Teaching Assistant is matched to a role that suits their experience, availability, and career goals.

The Role

As part of our Specialist Resource Base Support team, you will:

Support pupils with additional learning needs within specialist resource bases
Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Work closely with teachers and wider school staff to support individual learning plans
Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and engagement

We're Looking For

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
Strong experience providing support to pupils with additional learning needs
A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work across schools in Caerphilly

Essential Requirements

Enhanced DBS Certificate
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Completion of safeguarding training
