Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Salary: Up to £46,000 Basic + Call-Out Allowance & Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday (Split Shift Rotation: 7:00am–4:00pm / 9:00am–6:00pm)
Call-Out: 1 in 3 weeks
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a close-knit engineering team at a prestigious corporate office building in the heart of Knightsbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer seeking a stable, Monday to Friday position within a high-end commercial environment. Working as part of a small on-site team, you'll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance while ensuring the building operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical and associated building services systems.
* Respond to reactive maintenance tasks and fault finding.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and effectively.
* Complete statutory compliance checks and routine inspections.
* Support maintenance of HVAC, lighting, power distribution and other M&E plant.
* Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and colleagues.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records using the site's CAFM system.
* Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in every 3).
What We're Looking For:
* Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* Experience working within commercial building maintenance or building services.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
* Able to work independently and as part of a small engineering team.
