Assistant Branch Manager Opportunity in Edinburgh

Our client, a reputable retail branch in Edinburgh, is seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an automotive professional looking to leverage their leadership skills within a dynamic environment.

Benefits for the successful Assistant Branch Manager:

Competitive basic salary of up to approximately £32,000 per annum
Realistic on-target earnings of £39,000 per year
33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
Monday to Friday working hours, 9am to 5pm
No weekend work
Opportunities for professional development and career progression within a well-established branchDuties:

Support the Branch Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth branch functions
Lead, motivate, and manage the branch team to meet and exceed sales and customer service objectives
Promote and sell vehicle parts and related products within set pricing frameworks
Maintain a high standard of branch presentation, including cleanliness, organisation, and security
Manage stock levels, conduct stock takes, and coordinate deliveries efficiently
Assist in training new staff members and identify ongoing training needs
Respond to alarm call outs as a designated key holder and operate related equipment, including forklift trucks
Uphold the company's brand standards and ensure health and safety compliance
Perform additional tasks supporting branch operations as requiredRequirements as a Assistant Branch Manager:

Previous experience in vehicle parts sales or similar retail environment
Proven supervisory and leadership capabilities
Mechanically minded with an understanding of vehicle or trailer components
Full UK driving and towing licence
Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
