This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation where you'll play a key role in supporting and developing IT infrastructure, business systems, digital learning technologies, and cyber security across multiple sites.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of core systems, drive service improvements, and support the organisation's digital growth strategy.
The Role
As IT Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, support, and continuous improvement of the organisation's IT systems and business applications.
This is a hands-on position that combines technical support, systems administration, cyber security, user management, and project delivery. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and aligned with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Entra ID
* Act as the primary point of contact for IT support across the organisation
* Maintain user accounts, permissions, device management, and security controls
* Support and develop business-critical systems, including a Training Management System (TMS)
* Manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), cyber security controls, and data protection processes
* Work with suppliers and third-party technology partners
* Support system integrations, reporting, and process improvements
* Assist with website management, digital platforms, and future technology projects
* Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and the adoption of emerging technologies
* Ensure IT services deliver a positive user experience across the organisation
About You
* Experience in an IT Systems Manager, IT Administrator, Senior IT Support, Infrastructure Support, or similar role
* Strong Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID knowledge
* Experience managing users, devices, permissions, and security controls
* Understanding of networking, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and IT infrastructure
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
Desirable Experience
* Experience working with Training Management Systems, LMS platforms, or business-critical applications
* Knowledge of cyber security best practices and GDPR compliance
* Experience supporting website platforms and system integrations
* Familiarity with AI tools and digital technologies within learning or business environments
* Experience working within education, training, professional services, or a regulated sector
