Are you an experienced MET Technician?
Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to join a market leading vehicle specialist company based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing organisation, ensuring high quality craftsmanship and vehicle repairs are carried out effectively.

Qualifications
Essential:
Proven track record as an MET Technician/ Strip & Fitter within an accident repair/ body shop environment
Thorough understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical and trim components
Ability to work confidently and accurately on your own initiative with minimal supervision
Desirable:
ATA/ NVQ Level 3 in MET or Vehicle Body Repair
Awareness or certification in handling Electric and Hybrid vehicles
Roles & Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently dismantle damaged vehicles, identifying and documenting any hidden or secondary damage.
Rebuild vehicles post-repair, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and trim components are correctly reinstalled to manufacturer specifications.
Identify, diagnose and resolve Electrical/ Mechanical faults, ensuring safety critical systems are fully functional
Conduct final checks on rebuilds to ensure flawless alignment, fitment and functionality before the vehicle moves to the next stage or back to the customer
Managing your own workload effectively, working unsupervised whilst maintaining a consistent workflow
Requirements
As a MET Technician/ Strip & Fitter, you will also be expected to:
Work closely with the workshop team and management to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs
