Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 6pm
Friday 8:30am - 5pm
1 in 4 Saturdays 9am - 4pm
We are working with a well-established local business who are looking for an experienced Lettings Valuer to join their team in High Wycombe.
This is a busy and varied role where you will be responsible for carrying out lettings valuations, winning new instructions and building strong relationships with landlords. You will be speaking with customers, following up on valuations, keeping in regular contact with landlords and helping to grow the lettings business locally.
This would suit someone who has solid lettings experience, enjoys being out meeting people and is confident when it comes to building rapport, negotiating and converting opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the Lettings Valuer:
Carrying out lettings valuations and securing new instructions
Following up on valuations and previous market appraisals
Building and maintaining relationships with landlords
Keeping landlords updated throughout the process
Generating new business opportunities
Researching the local market and preparing comparable evidence
Working closely with the wider lettings team
Supporting with re-let properties and identifying opportunities
Promoting the company’s service and offering
Maintaining accurate records and notes
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company procedures and legislation
Supporting viewings and branch activity when required
Requirements for the Lettings Valuer:
Must have previous lettings experience
Previous experience as a Valuer, Lister or similar would be ideal
Confident communication and negotiation skills
Able to build strong relationships with landlords and customers
Good understanding of the lettings process
Good local property market awareness
Organised, proactive and target driven
Able to work under pressure and manage a busy workload
Professional, positive and customer focused
Full driving licence preferred
