Salary: £36,000 - £39,000 per annum

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a leading contractor delivering responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties throughout Manchester.
This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, company van, fuel card, and excellent long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
* Diagnose and repair plumbing faults efficiently and to a high standard.
* Install, maintain and repair:
* Taps, toilets and sinks
* Baths and showers
* Pipework and waste systems
* Radiators and valves
* Cylinders and water tanks
* Trace and repair leaks.
* Carry out minor multi-trade works where required, including basic tiling, patch plastering and carpentry.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
* Provide excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes.
* Complete job reports using a handheld device.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within social housing, responsive repairs or property maintenance.
* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification (desirable).
* Experience working in occupied properties.
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
