Shift Leader – FM Service Provider – Moorgate, London – £55,000 per annum

CBW is currently recruiting an experienced Shift Leader to join a leading FM service provider at a prestigious Grade A commercial headquarters building in the heart of Moorgate. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a high-performing engineering team, working in a modern, state-of-the-art environment supporting critical building operations. The client is also open to considering ambitious engineers who may not currently hold a Shift Leader title but have experience working within critical environments and are ready to take the next step into a leadership position.

Hours of work:
Days & Nights (7 - 7)
4 on 4 off shift patternKey Duties

Lead, motivate, and support the on-site shift engineering team.
Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance tasks are completed efficiently through the site maintenance system.
Carry out hands-on electrical and/or mechanical maintenance when required.
Diagnose and resolve plant and equipment faults to minimise downtime and maintain business continuity.
Monitor the quality of maintenance activities, documentation, and housekeeping standards across the site.
Manage spare parts and ensure critical stock levels are maintained.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and job documentation.
Prepare, review, and implement Method Statements and Risk Assessments to ensure safe systems of work.
Support the delivery of a safe, compliant, and high-performing building environment.Requirements
Fully qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to a recognised industry standard.
Previous experience in a critical environment such as commercial offices, banking, data centres, or other blue-chip facilities.
Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical building services.
Experience with critical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, and power distribution.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop engineering teams.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
