A well-established construction consultancy in Manchester is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with construction consultancy experience to work across a varied project portfolio while developing their long-term career.
The Project Manager will support projects across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, public sector, and mixed-use schemes. This Project Manager role would suit a capable Project Manager who is confident working with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior team members. The successful Project Manager will be organised, professional, and able to manage project responsibilities from inception through to completion.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will support the delivery of construction projects across Manchester and the wider North West.
The Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, consultant coordination, procurement support, risk tracking, reporting, chairing meetings, contract administration, and contractor liaison.
The Project Manager will also support Employer's Agent duties where required, helping to manage JCT contracts, instructions, valuations, change control, progress updates, and handover processes.
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will have:
Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Experience as a Project Manager or a strong Assistant Project Manager ready to step up
Project experience across residential, commercial, education, healthcare, public sector, or mixed-use projects
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or similar
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards
Good knowledge of JCT contracts
Employer's Agent experience would be beneficial
Strong communication and client-facing skills
A proactive and professional approach
