About the role
As an Advanced Team Member, you will play an important role in keeping your line running safely, smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys responsibility, takes pride in their work and wants to grow their skills in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.
What’s in it for you?
We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:
Annual salary of £34,853.11
Comprehensive healthcare support – including Medicash Health Cash Plan, Digital GP, Best Doctors second opinion service and specialist cancer care
KP Pension Plan – contribution matching up to 7% of your salary
KP4ME – our online platform for benefits, discounts, wellbeing tools and more
What will you be doing?
Owning and improving equipment performance
Acting as a subject matter expert, ensuring your equipment is maintained, safe and running at optimal performance
Supporting safe, high‑quality production
Carrying out testing procedures, checking work against quality standards and maintaining excellent hygiene and housekeeping
Using problem‑solving tools to eliminate losses
Working with IWS principles, daily management systems and structured tools to resolve issues, identify improvements and reduce waste
Training and coaching colleagues
Helping others learn to run, maintain and understand your piece of equipment confidently and safely
Working collaboratively within the team
Communicating clearly, using the Shift Board and supporting the wider team to achieve daily line targets
Who are we?
We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.
We’re committed to inclusion
We’re building a workplace where everyone belongs. If you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you – your unique perspective could be just what we need. And if there’s anything we can do to make the process easier for you, just let us know.
We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:
Experience in manufacturing or food production
This is highly desirable, though we will support your development through training
A good standard of literacy and numeracy
Able to understand instructions, record information and follow established processes
Ownership and accountability
A proactive approach to solving problems and improving performance
Strong attention to detail
Accuracy is essential for safety, quality and compliance
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable taking initiative while contributing to a supportive team environment
