About the Role
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the South Ribble area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teacher to join their supportive team.
The successful candidate will have strong experience in phonics delivery and a proven ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of SEN needs within a mainstream KS1 setting.
The school has been Ofsted rated 'Good', with strong leadership and a clear focus on inclusion and pupil development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
Deliver high-quality phonics sessions (Read Write Inc / Letters and Sounds experience desirable)
Adapt learning to support pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, speech & language and SEMH needs)
Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
Track pupil progress and contribute to assessments and EHCP targets where required
Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents/carers
Maintain strong behaviour management strategies across all learners
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong KS1 classroom teaching experience
Proven phonics teaching experience
Experience supporting children with SEN in a mainstream setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Salary (Teacher Pay Scale - England)
MPS1 - MPS6
