Vehicle Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable client based in Barking, East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to work within a busy and well-established workshop, specialising in light commercial vehicles. The successful individual will be offered a competitive salary, ongoing training, and excellent career progression opportunities.

Competitive basic salary of up to £39,729 with an OTE of £45,729
Performance-related bonuses earning up to £600 per quarter
Monday to Friday working hours from 8am to 5.30pm
One Saturday morning every four weeks, paid at 1.5 times the standard rate

Conducting repairs and servicing on light commercial vehicles and cars
Performing clutch replacements, timing belt replacements, and scheduled maintenance
Diagnosing faults and road testing vehicles post-repair
Completing accurate service documentation and repair reports
Ensuring all work adheres to manufacturer standards and safety regulations
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environmentRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:

Relevant technical qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repairs
Proven experience working on vans and cars within a busy workshop environment
Full valid UK manual driving licence, with no more than a few points (please specify points)
Good knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and general repair procedures
A proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
