Lynx Employment Services are recruiting on behalf of our client for an organised and customer-focused Housing Finance Officer to join a busy housing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment while supporting tenants and colleagues.
### The Role
You will provide essential administrative and financial support to the Housing team, ensuring enquiries are dealt with efficiently and records are maintained accurately. You will be responsible for managing the Housing Finance inbox, processing payments, handling customer enquiries and supporting the wider tenancy team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
### Key Responsibilities
Manage the Housing Finance inbox, responding to emails and allocating queries where appropriate.
Log and update information accurately on the housing management system.
Provide administrative support to the Housing Tenancy Team.
Process customer payments and maintain accurate financial records.
Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Receive, sort and book in incoming post.
Assist colleagues with general administrative duties as required.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure data is handled in accordance with GDPR.
### About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in an administration or customer service role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using databases or housing management systems.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience within housing, local government or finance administration would be advantageous but is not essential.
### What You'll Receive
£15.17 per hour PAYE.
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
