Job Title:Regional Account Manager
Location: Field-based - covering the London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire
Salary: up to £90,000 basic DOE + commission
Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships, and driving new lending opportunities?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced lending environment where broker relationships, deal flow, and risk appetite are key to success?
The successful candidate will have exposure to bridging finance and a strong understanding of this specialist lending area. You will be responsible for covering Central London and North London, as well as Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Cambridge.
Responsibilities for the role of Regional Account Manager:
Generate, manage, and develop new lending opportunities across Central & North London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Cambridgeshire
Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage intermediaries, professional introducers, and direct borrowers within your region
Manage deal flow and maintain a robust bridging finance sales pipeline to achieve and exceed targets
Work closely with the Head of Sales and internal teams to organise your diary, with a strong focus on face-to-face meetings
Respond to new business enquiries via phone and email, ensuring accurate CRM recording and high-quality service to broker partners
Develop strong knowledge of products, criteria, lending policy, and broker portal to support and train intermediary partners
Ensure compliance with TCF and Responsible Lending policies at all times
Attend industry events, roadshows, and Head Office meetings when required
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, feeding insights back to support product developmentExperience and skills required for the role of Regional Account Manager:
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment, with strong negotiation, presentation, and objection-handling skills
Strong knowledge of bridging finance (and wider specialist finance advantageous) with ability to structure and progress complex deals
Excellent communication skills, with strong commercial awareness and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Solid understanding of FCA/PRA regulation, AML, TCF, Data Protection, and Responsible Lending requirements
