Vehicle Inspections Assessor
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Inspections Assessor. This role is responsible for carrying out detailed vehicle inspections, assessing condition and roadworthiness, and producing accurate reports in line with company standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automotive experience and strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in line with company procedures and industry standards
Assess vehicle condition, identifying faults, defects, and areas requiring repair or further investigation
Produce clear, detailed, and accurate inspection reports within agreed timescales
Highlight and escalate any technical or safety-related issues identified during inspections
Ensure all assessments are completed efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Communicate professionally with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders regarding inspection findings
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all inspections carried out
Skills & Experience Required
Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Previous hands-on experience working with vehicles in a workshop or inspection environment
Strong technical understanding of vehicle components and systems
Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the automotive industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent qualifications
