PIM Data Steward - (Amazon Vendor Central) – 6 Month Contract – Fully Remote – Inside IR35

VIQU have partnered with a global E-Commerce organisation who are seeking a PIM Data Steward to support the EMEA function of the business, with a strong focus on Amazon Vendor Central and retail data integration.

The Role

This PIM Data Steward role centres around ensuring high-quality product data across PIM systems and its successful integration into Amazon Vendor Central and retail channels.

The successful PIM Data Steward will play a critical role in supporting new product launches, managing template mapping, and ensuring product data is correctly structured, uploaded, and optimised for Amazon and other retail platforms.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for marketplace distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure product data is accurate, complete, and aligned across PIM and Amazon Vendor Central
Support new product launches, checking data and following structured onboarding processes
Manage and execute data uploads into PIM and downstream retail platforms
Work with stakeholders to resolve data queries, issues, and requests
Support the mapping and onboarding of Amazon and retail templates, ensuring correct formatting and compliance
Apply data mapping rules to ensure alignment between PIM and Vendor Central requirements
Monitor and report on product data readiness for marketplace publication
Identify and resolve data discrepancies to prevent listing or publishing issues
Work to tight deadlines aligned to product launch schedules
Key Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems (e.g. Akeneo, Salsify, Informatica, Stibo Systems, InRiver or similar)
Proven experience working with Amazon Vendor Central, including product data onboarding and management
Strong understanding of how PIM integrates with Vendor Central / retail platforms
Experience with:

Mapping Amazon/retail templates
Defining and applying data mapping rules
Managing data uploads and transformations
Solid understanding of PIM data models and product data structures
Strong experience handling large datasets and high-volume product catalogues
Strong understanding of data governance and data quality best practices
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, macros, dashboards, advanced lookups)
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally

Role Details

Role: PIM Data Steward (Amazon Vendor Central)
Duration: 6 months initial (with view to extend)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35 (Off-payroll regulations apply)
Rate: £300 - £330 per day
Location: Fully remote
