Electrical Supervisor
Location: Automotive Manufacturing Sites (Gaydon, Warwick & Oxford Areas)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established engineering services business supporting leading automotive manufacturing facilities across the Midlands.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will lead teams of electricians, oversee electrical installation and maintenance projects, and ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working across multiple manufacturing sites, you'll play a key role in coordinating labour, managing project delivery and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support teams of electricians across multiple automotive manufacturing sites.
Manage day-to-day electrical installation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
Be hands on when required
Monitor quality standards and review inspection and testing documentation to ensure compliance with current regulations.
Carry out site inspections, toolbox talks and safety audits, promoting a strong health and safety culture.
Liaise with customers, site management, engineers and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
Assist with project planning, quotations and estimating where required.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering a professional, high-quality service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience supervising electrical installation or maintenance work within industrial, manufacturing, automotive or similar environments.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing qualification.
Experience carrying out or managing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
A good understanding of current electrical regulations and industry standards.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A full UK driving licence.
