Owen Daniels are supporting a leading aerospace manufacturing business based in Redditch, is looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established company supplying precision-engineered components to the aerospace industry.
This will be on a temporary to permanent basis.
Working within a modern manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for producing high-quality TIG welds to exacting aerospace standards while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out precision TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, and nickel-based alloys.
Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Produce high-quality welds that meet strict aerospace standards.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to achieve production targets.The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a TIG Welder within aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Experience welding thin-gauge materials would be advantageous.
Knowledge of aerospace quality standards is desirable.
