This role focuses on helping the student build confidence, settle into their new school environment, and thrive both academically and socially.

The Role
As a 1:1 Classroom Support Assistant, you will:
Provide dedicated support to a Year 7 pupil
Assist with classroom engagement and learning
Help build confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing
Support the pupil in settling into a new school environment
Work closely with teaching staff to ensure the best outcomes

The ideal candidate will:
Have experience supporting children or young people (e.g., education, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring)
Have an interest in sport or coaching as a way to engage and motivate students
Be committed to improving pupil engagement, confidence, and wellbeing
Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and compassionate approach
Have a genuine passion for helping young people succeed!
✅Requirements
Must be willing to obtain (at your own cost) or already hold the following. Teaching Personnel can provide guidance to help you obtain:
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service
Level 2 Safeguarding training
At least two professional references covering 24 months
Be aged 18 or over
