Senior Quantity Surveyor

Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor | Immediate Start | Hybrid working | West London

I'm working with a main contractor who are looking to bring in an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide immediate commercial support on a live project.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to hit the ground running, taking ownership of procurement and helping move the project into its next phase.

The Project
Your first assignment will be a substantial refurbishment and extension of a large Victorian property in West London.

The structural package is nearing completion, with the project now progressing into superstructure, roofing and internal fit-out. Upcoming packages include bespoke joinery, kitchens, specialist finishes, M&E and associated subcontract works.

The priority is getting subcontract enquiries out to market, driving procurement and supporting the commercial management of the project.

The Role

Immediate start
Freelance opportunity
Tender and procure subcontract packages
Issue enquiries and manage the tender process
Review quotations and prepare subcontract comparisons
Assist with package awards and subcontract administration
Support valuations, variations and commercial reporting
Work closely with the Managing Director and Site Manager to keep procurement ahead of programme
Requirements

Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong main contractor or developer experience
Proven track record procuring subcontract packages on refurbishment or new build projects
Able to work independently and make an immediate impact
Own vehicle required (business mileage paid)
